Here you go! Have fun with the sentences. Please write them in Microsoft Word or another application so that you can use SPELL CHECK.  Read the sentences to yourself to see if they MAKE SENSE. I am really liking capital letters today. You can also write a paragraph if you would prefer to do that instead of sentences. A paragraph will get you two pieces of paper for the raffle jar.

Spelling Sentences for “Dear Mr. Henshaw”

Sunday, February 3rd, 2008

Woo hoo! Look at that! The underdogs can sometimes surprise you. Congratulations to the New York Giants. Good for them. Everybody said that the Patriots were going to destroy them, but the Giants never gave up. Further proof that if you believe in yourself and always do your best, great things can happen.

And now your favorite homework assignment of the week is back! Be sure your sentences make sense. Thanks.

Same as before. Click on the comments link below this. After you do that, type in your name, your email address, and the anti-spam word. Then type your sentences. Once you have checked to make sure they are correct, hit submit comments. They might not show up right away because they are sent to me before they are published. I will publish them for everyone else to see a couple times during the night.

So, give me your best sentences. You will get your name in the jar if you write your sentences here. Then I will pull a winner to pick from the prize box!
