Same as before. Click on the comments link below this. After you do that, type in your name, your email address, and the anti-spam word. Then type your sentences. Spelling/Vocabulary: Prefixes & Roots

This week we would like to do something different by having you list one word that contains each prefix/root. For example, you could use the word universe for the prefix uni-. Another example of this would be; bio: biofeedback.

Spelling Sentences for “A Boy Called Slow”

Here you go! Have fun with the sentences. Please write them in Microsoft Word or another application so that you can use SPELL CHECK.  Read the sentences to yourself to see if they MAKE SENSE. I am really liking capital letters today. You can also write a paragraph if you would prefer to do that instead of sentences. A paragraph will get you two pieces of paper for the raffle jar.

New Spelling / Vocabulary

This week we are doing something different. Instead of writing sentences, I want you to select five words (spelling words) and write their definition from your dictionary. You can get extra credit if you give me some examples of similes and metaphors. You will get a paper for the raffle jar if you participate.
